THE PAINTING TECHNIQUE
Lucie has been schooled in all the classic painting techniques , oil, tempera, gouache and watercolor . But after meeting watercolor Prophet Arne Isacsson in the 1980s , Lucie was driven to exploring different color pigments.
The challenge gave her a new dimension in painting.
On the linen cloth using acrylic paint to achieve both transparency and light. Knowledge of how colors appear ”layered ” made the paintings finally achieve the result she was looking for.
Lucie now mixes her own colors with the finest pigments on the market. The paintings have a magical llight and a unique depth.
